Wedding Extras

We offer a wide range of excellent extra services which can be booked in advance or when you arrive in resort.

Your wedding on the beautiful island of Zakynthos is of course your own special day and can be tailored to match your dreams.

We can take care of all of your arrangements from start to finish including dressing the bridal bed the night of the wedding in the Greek traditional style and organising the reception venue for you (including decorating the bridal table).
We can also arrange for fireworks or for traditional Greek dancers and musicians to be present at your wedding ceremony or reception venue. We will do our utmost wherever possible to accommodate you with any request you may have for your special day.

Wedding Photography

To ensure you have memories of your special day to last you for ever we have at our disposal the best team of professional photographers on the island.

Your photographer will meet you at your wedding ceremony location to take those pre-wedding photos recording your last moments of being single!  Staying with you throughout the ceremony photographs will be taken of you arriving, the exchanging of the rings, you and your witnesses signing etc.  Once the ceremony hasfinished, photographs will be taken outside of the town hall/at the ceremony location capturing those beautiful moments surrounded by your family and friends. 

I have recently found the most amazing team of professionally trained photographers on the island.  Unlike the usual snap shot type pictures work of other photographers, they present an album of artistic and natural photographs of your wedding.  When time allows and we have at least a week before you leave you may even be able to choose your photographs yourselves from an index - not a simple task as all the photographs are always beautiful!

You will also be presented with two or three photographs in black and white in your album adding that extra special interest to the presentation of your photographs.

Some clients in the past have expressed reservations about booking a Greek photographer for their wedding based on their belief that they are not up to scratch, not so with my team of photographers, they are on a par with what you would expect from the UK and you will end up with an album of the most beautiful wedding photographs! 

Wedding DVD

The DVD is of an equally high standard with titles floating in and then out at the beginning together with a presentation of a summary of your wedding day at the beginning of the DVD, which then goes into the full presentation of your special day.  The beginning of each frame is listed in a menu at the beginning of the DVD so you can move onto whichever part you like. They are about 20-30 minutes long but the time very much depends on your input working alongside the photographer.  Again attention to detail plays a large role in making the DVD a noteworthy memoir for your wedding day.  You will also be able to choose the music you would like to go on the background.

I am the only company using Mandy and her team so they are at our disposal for each wedding if required. Photographs are such an important part of your special day as   they form an important part of your memories forever.  Just imagine how many times photographs are brought out to show people or just to reminisce yourselves. The worst thing possible is to be disappointed in your wedding day photos- I know because it happened to me!

FLOWERS

Included in your wedding package is a round wedding bouquet for the bride and a buttonhole for the bridegroom. This can be in any colour that carnations and roses come in. If you require something a little more exotic then you can choose from local flowers or for that special posy there’s a choice of lilies and orchids. The bride’s bouquet can be upgraded to a long falling posy at a small extra charge.

As well as the bride’s bouquets and groom’s buttonhole included in the package as well as upgrading the bouquet you will also have the chance to order extra flowers for the bridesmaids, guests, table, car decorations etc.

HORSE AND CARRIAGE

Imagine a romantic journey to your wedding in a traditional Zakynthian horse and carriage.

Enjoy that special feeling of being transported in style to your wedding while turning all heads as you pass by, an excellent photo opportunity to remember those precious moments for always.

WEDDING CARS

Why not let yourself be transported in the luxury of a silver/grey coloured Mercedes to your wedding venue .

Your chauffeur will pick you up at your accommodation and take you to your wedding where the car will wait. When the ceremony and photography session has finished it will take you to your wedding reception venue or will return you to your accommodation.

All wedding cars have a front ribbon and small floral decoration included in the price for your extra special day.

HAIR AND MAKE UP

For your special day why not treat yourself by having your hair and make up applied by a professional. We have at our disposal the services of Kate, our English speaking hair and beauty expert and her team who will transform your hair and make up in the comfort of your own apartment while you enjoy your time of being pampered.

Treat yourself to a skinspa, manicure, and pedicure and you’ll end up looking and feeling fantastic.

For that extra special touch you could even treat yourself to one of our aromatherapy, reflexology, or indian head massage packages.

TRADITIONAL GREEK FAVOURS

Why not enjoy some traditional Greek favours which are sugared almonds in netting with a bow and flower decoration which are tradtionally given out to your guests by young unmarried girls at the end of the ceremony.

WEDDING DRESS HIRE

If you are worried about transporting your wedding dress to the island on the flight and then of course having to find somewhere to hang it up so the creases fall out without anybody seeing it before they should then you can actually hire a wedding dress from here. 

The bridal shop offers a beautiful selection of dresses for you to choose from and don’t worry about any last minute changes – your dress will be ready within a mere couple of days after your initial fitting. 

GREEK MUSICIANS AND/OR DANCERS
If you are looking for something traditional then while in Rome…….. well in Greece anyway…..!
Greek musicians and/or dancers are just what you need to put you in that Greek mood to reflect the traditions of the country you have chosen to get married in. The musicians can come to just the ceremony to play for the guests while they are waiting and then to serenade you as you walk up to your groom. At the end of the ceremony they will play as the two of you sign and have your photographs taken or if you want they can follow you on to the reception and play Greek traditional and/or a mixture of Greek and foreign modern music. To really get you into the Greek mood you could have the Greek dancers to come and dance for an hour showing you a selection of Greek dances and even getting you up to join in the fun dances. Everyone loves this part of the evening and there aren’t many people who can resist getting up to join in the Greek atmosphere!

DJ
If you want a wide selection of music with definitely something to please everyone then why not book our English DJ. He will play whatever type of music you like from whichever era you prefer or just something to please everyone. Don’t forget to bring your favourite song for your first dance! The DJ has lights as well so you are all set for a great evening.

BALLOONS
Although there are two stands of flowers and a decorated centre table included in your wedding package for something extra special you may want to have a balloon decoration either at your wedding ceremony or at your reception venue.

FIREWORKS
A really great way to celebrate your wedding in style is to surprise your guests with a small firework display at the end of the ceremony or at your reception.

Extra special touches are also available such as:

• Greek boubounieres for your wedding guests
• A ribbon tied rose presented to your guests on their arrival at the reception venue
• A heart shaped chocolate presented in a small decorative box on each place setting at the reception venue
• Upgrade of wedding cake including extra tiers if required
