Lisa and Sandra have both lived on the Greek island of Zakynthos for nearly 20 years, we have worked here, married here, raised children here, loved here, hated here but nonetheless enjoyed our time here, so let us be your guide whatever your reason for coming to the island.

We have learnt a lot during our time in Zante, both from a local and a tourist point of view, because Zante is also for us our adopted homeland away from home, which is England and Ireland respectively.

Our goal for setting up

ZanteConnect is to help the visitor to the island enjoy the true beauty and delights of Zakynthos by sharing our knowledge about the local lifestyle and culture with you.

The Zante News is the Island's English newspaper which is published each Friday and can be bought as a supplement with the local IMERA newspaper as all kiosks on the Island.

We hope to introduce you to many delights and special locations on the island to which we have time and time again, brought our own family and friends when they have come to visit us over the years.

The Greek Island of Zakynthos is an Island of many resorts, villages and townlands, some of the more well known are Lagana, Kalamaki, Argassi, Tsilivi, Alykes, Alykanas, Ayios Sostis, Keri and Vasilikos.  Zakynthos (Zante) town is the main town on the island.
